If your child is new to the dance class, for the first few weeks, please bring them in any clothes that are easy to move in e.g. leggings and a t-shirt. They may be asked to dance in bare feet for ballet and modern-jazz, and to dance in their school shoes for tap. The uniform details are below, which your child will need after she/he has had 2-3 weeks to settle in.

HAIR

Hair should be tied back and off the face for all genres, and in a neat bun with a hair net and pins for ballet from Primary upwards. Where hair is too short to tie back, please ensure a headband is worn to keep hair off the face. Hair may be in a bun, ponytail, plait etc for modern-jazz and tap.

 

OPTIONAL

Dance Dedication zoodies can be worn to warm up in, and to keep the body warm to and from dancing. Personalised name printing on the back is available.
